This album gets bagged alot for the clarity of production, and the simplicity of the drumming, but I fucking love this cd. You have to expect that in 1991 there wasn't the same digital quality in the recording. This album goes down as an absolute classic for me. So many great catchy riffs. If you're not into "mosh" death metal you might want to stay away from this album, but otherwise this cd has enough brutality in it for any metalhead. Chris Barnes's vocal performance in my opinion is better on this cd than on Tomb of the Mutilated and The Bleeding. Get this now!
