Most fans of the band didn't like the clean vocals that were used on the band's previous album, Projector. I, on the other hand, thought they were kick ass and a great experimentation that should have been continued further. What Haven has to offer is no clean vocals for the most part and a more gothic feel than projector. The band does not tune to c sharp anymore, but only to E flat, which changes their sound totally. The keyboards don't add much, just background filler. There are some great songs, but there are some not so good ones also. I think that losing Their lead guitarist after Projector really changed the band's songwriting and signature style. I wish that they would have continued the use of the clean vocals even though most fans hated it. fav songs-The Wonders At Your Feet, Feast Of Burden, Rundown
Dark Tranquility - Haven 7/10
