Incantation-The Infernal Storm

The first song on this album is very brutal, with an enjoyable feel to it, but from there the album gets a little bit boring. It has some good parts, but too many slow, repetitive parts. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for metal bands changing the tempo during songs; it's part of good songwriting, but on this album the slow parts don't do anything for the songs, they last too long and are too repetitive. The vocals are very deathy and brutal, and I have to say this guy is one of my favourite death metal vocalists. The only problem I guess is that he has little variation. This album's ok, but I don't really recommend it.
