After 25 years in the studio and on stage,Motorhead are still loyal to their legendary sound. While the last three albums have been a bit smoother, their nineteenth album,We Are Motorhead, really kicks ass from the first to the last second. The songs express the well known mixture of high speed Rock'n'Roll hymns and,of course,a dirty Rock'n'Roll ballad."One More Fucking Time" is the kind of ballad only Motorhead can perform."All our years together were not worth a fuckin' dime,so go on and find me guilty, just one more fucking time."Gotta love that Lemmy. This album also includes the best cover version of "God Save The Queen",I've ever heard.Never Mind The Sex Pistols-here's Motorhead! It's hard to find a favorite song on this album because the whole evolution of Motorhead seems to materialise here in almost 40 minutes."See Me Burning" and "We Are Motorhead",remind of the early days of Mr. Kilmister, when he was still supported by Fast Eddie Clarke and Phil Taylor, while "Slow Dance" and pieces like "(Wearing Your) Heart On Your Sleeve" more fit the 90s.
Motorhead - We Are Motorhead 10/10
