This was a real big suprise to me. I read the band was being produced at Abyss studio with Peter Tagtgren. I automatically knew that this album would rule due to the fact that Tagtgren is producing it. The man just puts out killer album after killer album. This is no exception!!! This cd is a more return to roots compared to "Sleep of Angels". The songs are real dark, but also melodic with the killer abyss sound!!! I was never a fan of the band on their previous works. They just sounded ordinary in my opinion. This however, is a killer album that every death/black metal fan shoud own.
